Did your xj come with the 2.8? if so you can throw a 3.4 in there and have a beast, plus you can use most your parts from the 2.8

i bought it with nothing but a transmission but the guy said it had the 4.0 in it before it sold it as for tranny its an auto so im gona switch to standard
