4.88 Regear
So now that I will be switching to 35s I am going to regear to 4.88. I'm soon installing a Chrysler 8.25 and when I do this I want to regear and add in a spartan locker. So what all do I need to regear? I'm going to buy this gear package https://revolutiongear.com/product/j...8-25d30-short/ Is there anything else I will need for the regear?

I would do axle bearings and seals at the same time. Make sure you have plenty of loctite (I just use blue but make sure all the surfaces are clean).
Obviously have all the prerequisite tools, use cheap gear oil for the first break in period and break them in slowly (lots of short runs for the first 100 miles or so). After 500 miles, I broke mine in progressively harder until I changed the gear oil at around 600 miles. Then I changed it 1500 miles later and switched to amsoil.
Here is a pretty good written guide, the pictures are broken unfortunately;

And this video might be useful for the master install kit

I am eventually going to get those gears in 4.56 so let us know how it turns out. You will need a different carrier for the dana 30 and two extra dana 30 carrier bearings to make setup bearings. You can find those gears cheaper here http://rwkhaussupply.com/lift-gear-p...r-package.html
