Default 4.6/4.7 stroker motor connecting rods?

i am starting a stroker project for my 91 4.0 engine i just picked up and i have seen a couple of threads that say you can use the stock piston connecting rods for longer lenth with the 4.2 crankshaft. They said you would just have to buy more expensive piston heads and have them shot peened for added strength.

does this sound like a good idea or is it a better idea to buy the 4.2L connecting rods?

4.2 rods are just fine.
