4.5" Lift with 1" budget lift and locker question
Okay well I'm new here and recently got a 2000 jeep xj that I want to build, now I want to do a rough country 4.5" lift with 1" coil spacers and shackles in the rear. Would that fit 33" General Grabbers comfortable?
Also I want to do a lock right in the rear and a Aussie locker in the front, is that a good setup?
Any help is appreciated

If you get bushwackers you're going to have to trim anyways.. If you just take the flares off i'm sure you'll be fine. Or if you bumpstop (which you should do anyways) you should be fine at 5.5" with stock flares.
More realistically, if you're going for 33's you could easily fit them on a 4.5" lift with bushwackers. At 5.5" and bushwackers you could fit 35's.

Bushwackers really open up the wheel opening. Look nice too. They will prevent scraping and rubbing when you turn your steering wheel all the way left and right. The 97+ xjs had smaller openings than the older models. 33s are a pretty meaty tire. 35s pretty big. All up to you what you think looks/ fits best. Not sure if its a trail rig or DD. 35s you need to be looking into properly built axles/ gear ratio. Have fun with it man

Go with the Zone over rough country. The only thing rough country that i'll put on my jeep is their drop brackets, and thats because i got them for 50 bucks.

Stay away from RC. I haven't been satisfied at all with their products. X2 on zone. Awesome ride quality. They make great lifts kits. I would rather my suspension be manufactured by BDS suspension than rough country chinese crap or RE 4wheelparts.
