Default 4.5'' to 6.5'' need drop pitman arm?

I just went from 4.5'' to 6.5'' of lift and when I went to install my new trackbar I noticed the whole axel is shifted to the drivers side. I was wondering if I need a drop pitman arm and if I do how much of drop?

The track bar is what controls lateral movement in the axle not the pitman arm. When you lifted it the old track bar was too short and that's what pulled the axle over. That's why you usually receive a new longer track bar or brackets with a lift kit. A new drop pitman arm will help return your steering geometry back to normal. Hope this helps.

Do you have the stock pit man arm now?

I would say a 4 inch drop would work.

I have the stock drop pitman right now. I disconnected the track bar the axel was still shifted over. I then jacked up the body so the tires and axel sit loosely but the axel was still shifted over even with no track bar and the axel being loose.

You gotta pull it back over. If you got an adjustable track bar than try to line the axles up the best you can before installing it.
