4.0 Hardened Push Rods?
Hey,
I'm rebuilding a 4.0 and figured I may want to replace the pushrods instead of reusing the ones with 150k on them. Are there any improved pushrods available? Hardened? I didn't note what position the pushrods were in upon dis-assembly, so I probably shouldn't try to use them anyway. Is that a correct line of thinking or should they be fine?

My opinion:
You're way over thinking this. Stock is fine, and old is fine if oil still goes through them and they're not bent.

Just roll each one on a piece of glass to check for any bent then reuse all that are straight. If 1 would be bent just buy a new stock one.
All engine rebuilders reuse them if they are good if you were to buy a rebuilt engine they would have been reused.
