35's bumpstopping and flares
Right now I sit at 5" in the front and 3" in the back.
The plan is to cut the front fenders up a bit and reinstall the stock flares higher up. I want to bumpstop the tires out of the fenders a bit more than they are right now. I already have longer shackles that need to go in the rear. The fenders are already cut and folded with the stock flares ziptied on. Will I need to have longer bumpstops in the rear as well to keep the tires out of the fenders? Overall I am trying to pull off a pretty stock look with 315/75R16's mounted on 16x8 with 4" backspacing. I am going to get another set of stock flares from the junkyard and try and extend the current flares I saw someone do it on another forum searching around. Going to try some epoxy sandpaper and painting over hopefully they will come out stock looking.
The current rim/tire is 285/75R16's on 16x7 with 4.5" of backspacing. I already have a ford 8.8 LSD and D30 with 4.88s in them. I will be keeping the current D30's shafts as spares.

Ya got the right idea. Bump stops and trimming will allow for a bigger tire w/o stuffing it much. Look for progressive bump stops for rear. And check out a thread by N2O called "LOW COG suspension tips/tricks" it's sick.
