33X12.50X15 on a 15X8 wheel.....will it work?
 

I'm getting a 33x12.50 has anyone had these on a 15x8 wheel..if you could post pic's as well....I'm told they will fit I just want some other thoughts

might have to trim some

im not worried about them fitting under the car im worried about them fitting on the rim

33x12.50x15 cooper stt on 15x8 with 4 inch backspace, fits great.

yup will work just fine in fact they work fine on a 15x7

70% of the 33s on Jeeps are on 8" wheels.

i got the same tire on crager soft 8's

7's are pushing it and will rub on a jeep. 8's are fine for 12.5 wide.
they will rub stock lower control arms a little tho with 3.5 backspace. 4 inches will rub a lot.

Rub depends on backspacing with 7" rims as well

really? which part of his post gave you his lift height and backspacing?

yea i have a 15X8 rim...and aftermarket control arms....thanks caged

you are correct. but with a 12.5 wide tire, you will need at least 3.75 inch backspacing to not rub too much. and with a 7 inch rim, you won't find one with 3.75 inch bs, maybe 4.25 at the very least. so yeah, it will rub without the use of spacers.
a stock 7 inch rim has generally around 5 to 5.5 inch bs.
