Default 33s vs 35s tires

I have a 96 jeep Cherokee 5spd manual.
4.5 in long arm lift
4.56 gears
Aussie locker up front
Detroit in the rear

I plan on using my jeep for the Rubicon and fordyce and Barrett lake and all those fun places but I also plan on my jeep being my daily driver for years to come ( although my daily driving doesnt add up to much more then 100-200 miles a month )

I want to get km 2s I think. but I'm open to bfg a/ts if someone can convince me there just as capable and longer lasting.

33s tuck perfect as is.
if I go to 35s which I'm considering.
I'd have to tub the rear.. or bumpstops or somethin.

so with all that said what would you guys recommend

I have a 95 5sp
3.55 gears
4.5-5" short arm lift
33 KM1s.

2 of my friends run 35 KM2s and my 33's are not much smaller. I would of liked to run 35s but I didnt have the money to set up the suspension like i wanted (ie long arms, longer shocks, more bump stop).

Edit: This is my only vehicle and drive it cross country regularly.

Front is on the bump stop, rear is limited by the shocks.

Oh and from riding with friends, the AT's are actually louder on the road then KM2's and dont perform as well in mud/sandy situations

If you are plannin on runnin his jeep in trail rides/competition stuff, then 35's are better suited. Gotta get those pumpkins up. Only thing is, are your axles up for 35's with lockers?? Gotta make sure your easy on 'er.. That said, look up up the thread by N2O called "LOW COG suspension tips/tricks"
I'm talkin 36's on 3" lift w/o rubbin.. What?

Dana 30 up front Chrysler 8.25 in the rear.

I plan on this lift for awhile if not forever.. maybe add some spacers in springs up front

and Ive bbeen thinking more about it and I'm leaning towards 33s for a few reasons.
#1 is that 33s will have better torque with 4.56
but also the fact that there 100$ less and the fact that 35s are only gonna make my pumpkin sit 1in higher and with all the added work that will come with 35s..
I think the 33s will be fine

what's your opinion?

Went through the same questions myself for now sticking with 33x12.50R15 bias ply swampers probably going to move to 35's when I either find a set cheap or these wear out. The swampers I run now are heavier than most radial 35s out there.

wait you have 4.56 gears in a 5spd manual? With 33" tires that much be turning some serious RPM at 70, something in the region of 1.3x what you did stock gears/tires

^^2 I do just fine with 3.55 and 33's behind my ax15. In 4lo i didnt have any issues climbing rocks and I still get 16-17 mpg* on the highway cruising just over 2k rpms at 70mph.

*best calculated estimate due to speedo still being off

its about 2500 to go 65.
and I've done tests and gotten as high as 21mpg with this setup.

according to the gear charts out there 33s on 4.56s is the high side of the daily driver color. 4.88s would be low geared for crawlin.

all those charts are f'd up. I guess you would only be at ~2400 RPM (or 2500 RPM i guess) based on gearing calcs. final gear on a 5 spd really isnt that much different than the auto its just the first 4 that would be deep.
