Default 33s on a 4" lift.... where to cut to make it work!?!

this is the first time iv ever done a lift, I did a 3 inch lift with 1" blocks in rear and 1" coil spacers in front. i just got some 33s, from what i have read i can make it work with some cutting.
My question is, where and what do i need to cut to make this work, and how much?

Where are the tires rubbing? In the front and the back.

Best thing to do is to mount the front two and turn wheel side to side to see where it rubs then cut accordingly. I had a 4 inch with 33's and I took about 4 inches off the front behind tire and angled it up to match at the corner, and in front of the tire I cut the bumper where it comes in to meet the body from the flare and matched the flare and under sheet metal to it. The back is a bit harder so I comp cut my rear and cut as much as I could in front of the tires but still leave room to secure door.

Make the cut big enough the first time definitely if ur putting bushwakers on! don't trim alil bit so u don't rub cut them things way down and then flare the fenders out a little tiny bit so it makes them stronger... if u just cut and leave it at that ur fenders will be flimsy.. not what ya want lol u wanna pri the fender out just a lil it'll make it alot stronger and hell u should put bushwackers on if u don't have ne rust! It'll look sick please send us all pics so we can see how u did

can kinda see the front, and this is also after two inch pucks in the front and two inch shackles in the back. Total lift now is 6.5", but you can still see where to cut. I personally like to keep my flares, at least the front ones, but that's up to you.

I have a 93 Cherokee Country with 3" lift and 33's. To start, I took the fender flares off, and on the front, I used the dust line from where the outside edge of the flare was mounted, and just used that to cut it. I tried a sawzall and even with a fine blade it wouldn't cut, fender is to flimsy, It was so easy with Tin snips. And then there is a pinch weld on the inside under the inner fender. I took a 3lb sledge and bent that over so that when the tires are tucking it doesn't rub that sharp seem.

The back, I took the fender flares off and cut some relief cuts into the fender, just shy of the flare of the metal, and just took that same 3lb sledge and beat the metal over. So when your done it looks like the fender is rolled.

I trimmed my front flares on the bottom, and drilled holes in them, then just used self tapping screws to bolt them to the fender. I plan on doing the same to the rear when I add more lift.

The hardest part was just getting all the trim pieces OFF. The only time mine rubs is when the rears are tucking up in HARD.

It's not the prettiest setup, but by the time I got it all dis-assembled I was running out of time. And ya, I know my flex is weak.

these are with 33x12.50's on Cragar rims with a 3.75 backspacing.
