32" tires with STOCK suspension..yes you can
I have a 2000 cherokee sport and everyone said it couldn't be done... So I figured I would try..
I bought 4 18" wrangler rims, which have 255/70/R18, measuring about 32". My stock wheels measured about 29".
Since theres a different bolt pattern on the new rims, I bought adapters from spidertrax.
Yes-heres the catch- trimming required. I I cut and modified the stock fenders and bumper caps front and rear. I trimmed the body metal behind the stock flares, and also the metal flanges has to be trimmed down..For now, very minimal rubbing on tight corners.
I plan on eliminating the rubbing by pulling the splash guards in the front away from the tires with a couple zip ties.

I like the look of it, overall its a little over an inch higher. Rides nice so far, over potholes better.. Some haters are going to moan about the look, but thats okay.. I think eventually ill add a very small lift.. More details to come, post questions, or give feedback, I'm kinda looking for peoples opinions, positive or not...is there anyone else wanting to try this..?

If it doesn't rub, that's cool, cause that would be my main concern. Did you do this for any other reason than to prove a point? Say bye bye to a few MPGs

I just put 30x9.50r15's on my 2000 sport that are on older Wrangler wheels and they rub my control arms on tight turns.

I have the same problem on my 88 with 31s. I was told you can either buy zj control arms with a lil modification, or buy aftermarket xj control arms that have a "S" patter to them.

Perhaps worn &/or abused suspension causes some rubbing for some but not all... Also, the different year and or model sub-category might have slightly different suspension specs..
