3" RC Lift, need help deciding on 33's vs 35's.
Okay, before someone shouts "Search!" at me, the search function doesn't work that well, and frankly if everyone just searched and never posted, there wouldn't be any threads on this forum. That coupled with specific answers to specific problems, I'm doubting I'd be able to find my specific answer.
Anyway, I have a 96 4dr Cherokee Sport with the 4.0 and a 3" RC Lift (full leafs). I'm about to order my Wrangler Kevlars, but I can't decide on going with 33's, or 35's. I have the Chrysler 8.25" 29 spline in the rear, and the factory dana 30 in the front.
I do not plan on locking either differential. My main concern here is trimming the rear for more clearance. If it were a 2dr cherokee, I wouldn't even be making this post, but the 4dr doesn't leave much room to trim.
Thoughts guys?
Thanks

Search my name for posts. I have posted pics of my 3" on 33" MTR setup that clearly shows my cut fenders and 1/4's.
This exact question gets asked almost daily.

i'm in a similar boat and yes i do agree that searching doesn't help much for all the people flaming over the search button theres nothing wrong with asking questions rights? isn't that what a forum is for? the lift tire setup thread is a good place to start and then from there it comes down to how much you want to trim then gearing, and then steering. From my experience the bigger the tire the more problems i've ran into. i'd stick with 33's if its ur dd if its not the skys ur limit.

Was specifically asking about trimming for the 35's. And i'm glad repeat questions get asked daily, because again, if they didn't, there would be no new threads.

You'll have to trim and bumpstop as needed either way. Personally, I'd go with 35's, that's what I've got, and it works well. I've only cut and folded my fenders, and bumpstopped it, didn't take much to clear them at 3".

do you have any pictures? and I'd prefer not to bumpstop if I don't have to, unless it's pretty easy.
