3 inch lift with zj coils
 

Today i just order some v8 gc coils, but now i dont know what i should do for the rear and shocks. Has any one done this before. Also i have a 2 inch lift installed.

sounds like you want to make a JY lift, but with new parts? Do you have. JY near you? You are going to want to buy new shocks, doesn't matter what company, as long as they accommodate a 3" lift and then some. Your gonna want to make a bastard pack from s10 leafs at your JY or buy 3" leaf packs from RC, Rustys, RE, etc. oh and you'll need a TC drop.

not necessarily - every xj is different. I didn't need a t case drop until i went up from 3" to 4.5"

It will not hurt to get one though. It's like $25.

I just got done with the install. The new coils are $75 from autozone and it works! The ride is better and it ads 1 inch of lift. I'm going to put pics up.

you got a part number on those coils? Iv been thinking about adding them to my 2"spacers
