You might want to but haven't seen the need for it yet. I have to down shift on the pass when I go over but other than that I cruise 70 at around 1900-2000 rpm in 5th gear. Now my engine has been modified. Not sure if what I have.done makes a difference with needing to regear or not.

Yard wheeling to see how bad they rub.Lets just say alot.I have a 3 in. put together lift & 33's.Lots of trimming;don't forget the pinch seam & there are at least 4 big sheetmetal screws going thru the fender & will cut the tires.I have stock gears & gotta say not much diff. in my 31's as far as power. But, my gas milesage went from 300 miles to a tank with 31's to about 160/170 with the 33's.BTW, I drive like a old man on Sunday's,most of the time.
Dont forget your speedo and odometer are off worse then the 31s already where so its not as bad as you think but prob a little worse with the extra weight

I call BS on 22 MPG-that would be awsome.I don't feel I NEED to re-gear,either.Although I would LIKE to.BTW,I have a AW4.

That is gps confirmed for two tanks now. But thats all highway and 60 mph. got 22 mpg the first tank and 21.6 the second. It has always been good on gas. I did get a drop in my mileage with my bigger tires though. There was one tank on my old tires that I got 23.8!
