Different oil pan
Built my 2001 XJ stroker from a 98 TJ donor motor....the stock motor was at full on the dipstick at approx 6 quarts....the new motor takes almost 7. I run a full sized oil filter so that accounts for almost a quart but i have run them forever so it can't be that...also the oil drain plug seems to be a slightly different / smaller thread count than the one i have used on all my other xj motors. I think the xj uses a 1/2 dia plug where the tj is either smaller and or metric but the threads do not match...any ideas
