3 inch to 4.5 inch lift Questions!
Ok guys so hears the situation i have a 3inch rough country lift kit on my jeep now. My dads friend gave me 2inch shakels for the rear leafs. So i was wondering if i get 1.5 inch spacer pucks for the front springs would i need to get new break lines to compensate for height, get new control arms, ect and any other mods i might have to do if i go that high. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

you SHOULD get new control arms, but dont HAVE to. New brake lines depend on if youre going to get enough flex out of it, probably get away with relocating brackets. also could end up needing an SYE.

what exactly do you mean by SYE? and so your saying i could get away without new control arms and just relocating brackets for the break lines?

I would recommend some JKS ACOS for the front. You can adjust them to the height you want.

Maybe new lower control arms, you could get away with just relocating your brake lines as long as you don't try and flex a lot, also you need to make a new mounting point for your track bar.. Just drill a new hole an inch or so over

DO get those brake lines. You can sit there and try to "not over flex" but when you are on the trail you really don't know how much flex you have going on without being outside the vehicle. And trust me you really don't to be driving home with one line crimped by a set of vise-grips because you over extended a break line. Pucks or ACOS, both serve the same concept, ACOS are great. But It's highly recommended you get at least those lower control arms. This way your front end geometry is in as close to a "stock" configuration with out putting too much strain on other parts thus reducing a rougher ride without them.
