3.5 inch lift drive shaft without sye
I lifted my xj 3.5 inches with a 8.8 swap and i have a small driveline vibe. the drive shaft shaft sticks out of the transfercase a little bit. I have the ax-15 and the np231 tc and i was wondering if i could just get a driveshaft out of a automatic cherokee as long as it was 23 spline cause their a little over a inch and a quarter longer. would this work without a sye?

You could just do a TC drop with some washers/spacers. Most people will tell you to do an SYE. If you had the wherewithal to do an 8.8 swap I'm actually surprised you didn't factor in an SYE to begin with.
Ultimately, an SYE will solve your problems without sacrificing clearance to the TC with a drop. A longer shaft won't necessarily fix your vibes because they are caused by misalignment between the rear pinion and TC shaft. Both the TC and rear axle are fixed in space so simply adding a longer shaft isn't going to rotate them into proper alignment.

You spent a bunch of money and probably time getting yourself lifted up 3.5", and now you want to lower your ground clearance (breakover, most importantly) by doing a TC drop? IMHO this is a temporary fix, albeit a convenient one. If you don't wheel, it should work fine, however judging by the 8.8 swap, I would assume otherwise. Spend on the SYE/DS and never have to worry about it again. Also, you were mentioning pinion angle, you will likely need to use shims once you do your SYE

Yeah I am flat broke right now I am just looking for a temporary fix. It really isint that bad (barely noticible) but I know it's not good on the drivetrain so I wanna put a band aid in it so I can get the money for a sye and shaft. So is it 1 inch square stock and longer bolts or what ?
