Would you also have to run a SYE and new drive shaft?

Most likely yes. U can also temporarily install a transfer case drop until u get money for a sye.

If you didn't fix your steering at 3", new stuff would be mandatory.

Depends on the jeep. I am at 4-4.5 in the rear. Transfer case raised 1/2" for flat belly. No problems at all with stock drive shaft. Daily driver.

Would not waste my money on a sye or transfer case drop.

Some people say you have to.

So I just figure not all jeeps are alike.
