Default 2WD lift question

I want to put a small 3 inch lift on my 2WD 99 Sport.

Will any lift kit work, most say 4WD...will a 4WD kit work on
a 2WD

At suggestions on a complete kit - I need to replace saggy
rear leaf springs so a kit with them included would be good.

Tks
Will

I don't see any reason why it won't work. As far as lift kits go, there are a lot of options and opinions. With that being said I like my Zone lift.

Just put a Zone lift on a week ago and love it. My xj is also 2wd. I do need a new track bar to center the front axle and I also bought Rubicon Express sway bar links and adapters for mounting. Get with "AOR" if you decide on a Zone lift, hes an excellent vendor and will get you a great deal on a lift. All lifts for xjs will work, the only thing you won't need are transfer case drop brackets if they some with the kit.

Components needed for 2wd or 4wd lift are the same. You can piece a kit together for cheap or buy one from Serious Offroad (rubicon express), Rusty's, IRO, BDS, etc... your choices are only limited by your budget.

Looking into a 3" lift for my '99 2WD as well. Who is "AOR"? Is he a vendor here?
