From what I have read is that they will work on XJ's with 2-4" of lift. I found a good deal on some so I gotta snag them. They have 3k miles on them. Wish they were Rubi ones so they would be red.

I have 3/3.5 in of lift on mine & the shocks are fine.I took my shocks to a guy & he used PB Blaster, hammer & a vise to prop the shock on & just 2 hits & the front lower "bar" was in.I spent alot longer than that messing with it.

It's common for a cheap 2" lift to use JK shocks.
Normally you press out the lower bushing sleeves out of the front and rear shocks and press bar pins in the fronts. The upper shock mounts bolt right in front and rear, no mods.
On mine, I made adapters to bolt to the front diff shock mounts and then bolt to the front shock without mods. On the rear I'll press the sleeves out and roll.

Thanks for the info guys. I couldn't pass up 2012 JK shocks with 3k miles for 30 shipped. Wished they were Rubi shocks so half of them would be red. Oh well they will work.

Not much on the rattle can anymore since I have my own powdercoating setup. Can't powder them though. Don't think they would like the heat too much
I could rattle can but the all black will work. Ain't like they'll be seen much with a puny 2" lift.
