2004 RME/Tomb Raider Wheels
 

Found a set of 5 Alcoa 15X8 wheels on-line with Falken Wild Peak ATW3's (31/10.5r15) with supposedly 200 miles on them. The fifth wheel is not a matching spare, its the stock Goodyear on the Alcoa. Tires look clean and I asked for a DOM code, but the seller isn't home. The seller claims the wheels are 2 years old (I call BS since I can't find any evidence that Alcoa manufactured any other 15X8 w/ a 5X4.5 lug pattern except in 04/05 for Chrysler RME) and that their friend paid $1400 for the set and they bought them for $950 yada yada.

Anyways, I offered $500 since they are used and I have seen past posts around that price with better tires. She came back at $700 and I walked. I just told her let me know when you don't sell them.

What would you do?

They are pretty clean, but if I am paying that much, I might as well get new Mickey Thompsons although people do tout the Alcoa's.

Also, it makes no sense that they would have the non-matching spare and then put 4 brand new tires on, only to sell and then she claims she got a newer Jeep and they don't fit anymore. Doesn't add up.
