I have had mine installed for 10-11 months and put about 7000 miles on my 2000 Cherokee (with a 96 motor) running dual cats and a Rugged Ridge 409 Stainless, I have been out wheeling over a dozens times, towed a trailer 2000 miles round trip at 80 MPH, I did use Permatex Hi-Temp Copper Sealent on both sides of the gasket as a buddy suggested. I thought the flange on the RR Header was very sturdy, I did however have an issue with the first one they sent me as the pipes were welded wrong in the JIG and hit my intake, but they sent me a POLISHED Stainless as a replacement for my non-polished at N/C and I got in 48 hours, plus I did not have to return the old one.

PS: From my order email this is what I got:

Ordered: 1 OMX-17650.02 Exhaust Header (4.0L), 409 Stainless Steel, 2000-2006 Wrangler, 2000-2001 Cherokee, 1999-2001 Grand Cherokee

All in All I am happy with my RR Header.

I am about to get my 2nd one for my Cherokee, the other Cherokee was for what is now my daughters Jeep, again I am going with the Rugged Ridge 17650.02 non-polished stainless steel header.

We have over 10K miles now on the first RR header and still no problems.

I've been looking into a header for my 2000 as well. Is it worth the time and money to get an actual header for the 4.0? What kind of power gains are we looking at?
