Default 2000 cherokee tire issue

i have a 2000 cherokke with 2.5 lift on it. I'm ,looking to upsize my tires. Am i able to go to a 33x12.5x15? if so what backspacing do i need to run .. Thanks !!!!
Or am i better sticking with a 31 or 32 inch tire with a doff offset for a wider stance with the tires...

What 2.5" lift do you have or what parts were used to lift it?

Are your fenders cut?
Running flares?
Need full information.

If you dont know then post some pics of your Jeep and suspension.

It's on 31.5x10.5x15 on factory rims. I'm looking to change the backs pacing to give it a more aggressive stance. dis

With no fender cutting on a 2000 model with stock flares the 31 is going to be the Max tire size.
Wheels will make it look alot better though.
You need 3.75 - 4" of backspacing.
If you're looking at wheels that have "offset" listed, you'll want 0 or a - measurement. Example: -19 offset.
