Default 2-2.5" bastard pack?

So anyone know a good leaf choice to net about 2-2.5" of lift in making a bastard pack?
I'm just wanting to get some lift and a little more life in the springs until the summer when I can fully replace them.
maybe an XJ main (mines flat) with just an S10 main as an add a leaf? Or is there another "softer" choice in leafs?

I used the full S10 leaf pack under my jeep and got 3-3.5" of lift. There are 3 springs in the s10 leaf, some also have a overload. You would have to play with different spring configurations but Im sure you could make it work.

I'd suggest taking your stock pack and adding a blind XJ main, XJ secondary and MJ shackles.

Hey man Just thought I'd share with you the results I got from building a S10 bastard pack I built recently. Rather than flame you for not doing some research ill be generous as there can never be to much info on this stuff.

I recently picked up a pair of leafs off of an 1996 S10 long bed extra cab. The packs had 5 leafs. One main, secondary main, 3rd,4th and an overload. I picked them up at a Pull-your-part JY for $40.

Click the link to my build and you'll find the info I came up with.

If you just want 2-2.5" for a short term, Throw in a Long add-a-Leaf off of ebay.

What I see is everyone using the S10 packs, or a derivative thereof, gets min of 3" lift, which is too much right now. I need LESS THAN 3", so that I can level out and temp. fix the sagging rear.
Not wanting to get an eBay leaf, since the pull-a-part is just 3 miles away where i live. I have friends there, and may see about getting a couple 2.5" wide springs and testing the lift packs. (Hard with my current schedule)

Possible choices are just adding another blind XJ main, or using a blind Explorer Main or 2nd leaf are what I've gathered from other information. Thoughts?

You can buy 3" lift springs new for around $100. If you really dont wanna go to 3" just get the S10 leafs and use one or two.

Got a link for me? I've Googled and Binged. All I ever saw are stock and thats for a single. I can basically walk out with other springs free, as I'm replacing my old Ranger springs with Explorer ones, and i just pay one price. (Hook up )
