My problem all started when i installed an aftermarket cruise control kit...

i was installing it and when i drilled trough my firewall i drilled into the main wiring harness and shredded most of the wires. so i removed the harness soldered the wires back together and am positive they are all a match i checked 3 times.

my car starts my cruise work but when i turn my lights on my dash light does not turn on...

now here's where i get really confused... if i start my car with my car starter the dash lights up but if i tap the break or use my key it doesn't work.

any ideals?

Also i want to connect my neutral safety switch for my cruise but do not know what wire to use one the nss harness..

so i Figured one problem out but caused another...

the reason the dash light was not working is 2 of the pins in the wiring harness where broken so i bypassed the connector and connect to wires permanently... now all my dash gauges are dead and my car wont start at all... any ideals?

Did any more pins break? Wiring issues are the worst thing ever and can be a huge nightmare!

i took the connections apart many times and no other pins broke... i hate wiring problems... its one thing after another!!!
