Default 1990 xj lift question

Hey guys! I have a three in" lift on a 1990 4.0 L and I've been having a popping/ or binding type ever since I've owned the jeep.
On my way to work felt something not right in the rear end. Sure enough the RR aluminum spacer is off buy about 1/4 inch. How do. Fix this do I need my whole Alex straightin out now?? Am I safe to drive 5 mi back home?

Please park the jeep and drive something else until you get rid of the blocks.

I can't for the life of me understand why ppl use those. Get a damn AAL or a bastard pack for a budget lift

You should be fine to drive it home just take it easy. But ditch the blocks and pic up some shackles, or shackle relocation brackets

Think I'm going to skip the fwy tonight and take it slow for the 5 mile ride home.

Whats the proper way to realign my blocks? And how much will the u- bolts be compromised ?

Depending on what you're looking to spend, get a spare xj leaf Pack and get 3" of lift from that or get a 3" aal to put in your existing pack. That block will have potential to move around again plus the other factors they cause

Most likely the locating pin broke on the block and is junk. Those aluminum blocks are notorious POS. Technically, you should always replace your u-bolts when your remove them as the threads aren't designed to be reused.

Just looked at that and the pin is still in place, but it shifted alittle. Now will I be able to knock it back in place ?

Give it some love taps and see if it'll pop back in. Your u-bolts probably loosened up and need to be retorqued.

Should be in the 55- 65 lbs ft range, I don't have an FSM here. I usually use an impact and just crank down on them. You should retorque them after 100 miles and check them periodically. If you buy a torque wrench, get a 1/2" 30-150 lbs ft one.

Get the steel blocks if your gonna use them. Aluminum don't hold up.

Whats the best place to get good service and good quality parts like I need? Steel spacers maybe, relocator shackles I'm thinking. Haven't heard anything good on the process.
