17" moabs with rc long arm kit?
i noticed after ordering my kit that the backspacing was 3.75 i got a set of 5 17" moabs for 150 bucks last week and i was wondering with the wheel adapter would i be able to run these wheels? im pretty set on the moabs wat can i do to run them? or would i have to get wheels with the correct backspacking?

17" Moabs have 6", minus the 1.25" of the adapters gives you 4.75" of backspacing. You'll just have to turn less like I do unless you want to hear rubbing on control arms.

You can get spacer adapters. If you are talking about your lift kit saying you need 3.75" backspacing, that's not required, that's just recommended. You could run stock backspacing or even 1" backspacing (not recommended at all) but the adapter would push your wheel out a good amount to give it a good stance.

First it's what...
Second they don't make adapters thick enough so if your set on form over function your going to rub.
It's the reason I got rid of my rubi wheels.

Technically spacers are a 1/4 max I think... Adapters with the same in and out pattern are 2in... I would u could get them still two in thick with a different pattern...

I've got the same question as OP. I found a new set of JK rubi wheels with the stock 255/75/r17's on them so this thread is going to help he out a lot.

i found a site that would make me some 2" adapters but it would cost me roughly 400 bucks..ive seen many cherokees with the 17 inch wheels but i guess they had massive rubbin problems. does anyone know wat the stock backspacing is?
