15x8 Wheel Backspacing for 2.5-3 inch lift and 31x10 tires?
My jeep currently 2.5 higher in the front and 3 inches higher than stock in the back (measured 20 inches front and back rather than the stock 17.5 in front and 17 in back).
I'm currently running 15x7 Cragar Soft 8's with 4.25 backspacing a 30x9.5 General Grabber AT2 tire. With this current setup, I do not experience any rubbing of any kind (no bump stops or spacers used).
I'd like to upgrade to a 15x8 wheel and a 31x10.5 tire as there appears to be a good amount of room in the fender well.
I've narrowed my backspacing choices to a 4 inches, 4.5 inches, and 4.75 inches. Would one of these backspacing choices prevent any sort of rubbing on my LCA and fenders?

Stock 5x8 wheel...ie......Ravine.... will have 5.25" backspacing.
31s will fit with no lift on stock BS, but will rub the LCA, WJ LCAs solve this problem.
+20 will take you as close to stock as possible in an aftermarket wheel.
+30 would be stock but I doubt you'll find anything in a +30.

I know its not in your choices, but a 10.5 wide tire on a 15x8 wheel would be best suited for 3.75" backspacing to avoid rubbing on anything at full turn

Jeep stock wheels are a 15x7" wheel not 8".
Your best bet is a 15x8 with 3.75" of BS that way if you choose to go to a larger tire sometime they will clear a 33/35x12:50x15 with that BS your good to go.
