12 hole Injector question
Hello.. you may remember me from Diptard Destroys Jeep and Diptard Still at It... Anyways I got some of the bugs worked out... long story, but make sure you order the correct adapters and disconnect the ECU if you decide to solder injector pigtails on to your harness... Anyways.. I have the 12 hole Injectors in and I am getting misfire codes.. will this last forever?? How patient do I need to be when waiting for the codes to stop being thrown? It seems that over 2000 rpm everything is almost always running fairly well. but between 1500-2000 rpm there is substantial sputtering...popping sounds like backfiring kinda.. I cant help but think this is already too much of a fiasco...any sage advice would be greatly appriciated... 96 HO4.O AW4. thanks!!

There shouldn't be anything like that happening when you replace your injectors. Might take a second to settle down but it should run pretty good and get better with the computer reset.
