I would say easily .... I did mine for far under $1000.
3" Rough country Lift w/shocks, boots, u-bolts, and LCA's - $350 new from Jeeperz4wd
4 Pro-Comp 16x8 rims - $75 CL Find
4 BF Goodrich All Terrains LT265/75R16 $200 another CL find
==============================================
Total Cost = $625
I know I got really lucky with the Rims but if you are using your stockers then your ahead of the game ... I would search CL for tires be patient a set for the right price will pop up took me 2 weeks to find my tires ... that was my biggest hold up but good deals do pop up once in a while.

Thanks for the responses! I just got some Jeep Sahara 15" wheels (like new) and Goodyear Wrangler 31" 10.50-15's (90-95% condition) for $475.00 I could of gone with my stock wheels and tires, but with these tires and in the condition of them and the wheels, I think it's a pretty good deal. That leaves me $525.00 for the lift.
I may go bastard pack since others have had great success. We'll see. I have to decide here shortly.
HCF Jeep, is it still for sale? I don't see the link. Please PM me!

I did mine under $1000
- Treadwright Guard dogs, 285/75/16 (33.25 x 11.33" on the wheel) set of 4 -- $520 delivered
- shocks 30" front, 29" rear used -- craigslist $30
- 16x8 (4" BS) soft 8s with 2 good MT 285/75/16 (for use as spares) - craigslist $150
- new in the box Rough Country 4.5" coils springs -- craigslist $49
- used rough country 3" lift kit NO shocks $70 sold the front 3" coils for $50 - JUNK YARD $20
- used Rough Country 1.5" shackle, like new - junk yard $6 for the pair
- home made shackle relocation boxes - self $10 worth of material
- home made double shear track bar and bracket - $10 in material
- home made extended swaybar discos - hardware store farm pins $8
- ZJ stock pitman arm (1" XJ drop) FREE - buddy at the junk yard
- JK front control arms uppers and lowers - used - member of my local Jeep club $60
- homemade adjustable front upper and lower control arm mounts -- $10 in materials
- sold my STOCK wheels and tires for a good chunk ++ $235
total not counting my time - $647 (that's if you count the fact that I sold my stock wheels and tires)
TIME - maybe 80 hours so I would guess around $5000 - $6500 for labor... lol
Marriage - not sure if you can put a cost on one... but a well put together Jeep seems like a decent cost to me I mean that has to be wroth $100-500 right? either way I am still married... maybe I need another Jeep or 2... that should fix that

note - the wife informs me that I only spent $150 on the soft 8s... fixed

Ericfx1984-wow brother, that is some sweet as dealing and wheeling!
You have to pm me details on the swaybar discos (what size and if they were just pin or if you needed washers too) and track bar(you made one-WOW, that's insane. Welding involved???).
My appologies to all for getting off topic. Is there anyway you can forgive me
Hopefully HCF Jeep is the one selling the CL items. I wouldn't trust sending money to a non-CF member. That lift would be awesome for my budget.
One thing I didn't consider (or price into the $1000) is gears. It's a AW4 with stock gearing. Will it be drivebale with the 31's or will it KILL my gas. I am expecting a loss, I ust don't want to go through a tank driving 150 miles. I definite plane getting gears in 6 months.
Torn between doing the 8.25 rear or buying a 8.8 on CL for $70
, THEN doing gears on that (after the spring brackets are welded.)

Thanks Freegdr-Before I saw that, I went online and found a Zone lift on Ebay (new) for $315.00 shipped ($290 before shipping) and bought that.
I still will need the T-case drop (approx $30-35 bucks) and will get a bastard pack added to the AAL, in hope it lasts a few years. I am not doing heavy wheeling now. It will be mostly for fire roads, snow, and light stuff so it should hold out.
$525.00 for the lift (after the tires), minus $315.00=$210.00 left.
Still need the T-case drop spacer, that leaves me about $175.00 for the used bastard pack and ????
I guess it can be done.
