Question 1 ton steering ????

Does anyone make a 1 ton steering kit with the hex DOM besides Terraflex???

I know most people say to go with Serious Offroad's kit but isn't it basically the same as the stock "Y" setup, just wider???

I like the look of the hex but am not goin to spend that much for Terra's kit plus you have to have there $450 knuckle in order to use it!!! that's ridiculous aint it??

Thanks

We can put together a crossover steering kit for you using our 1-1/4" solid hex and 7/8" chromoly ruffstuff heims. Just let us know what lengths you need. We would charge the same as our d30 steering setup. 325.

No, not like a stock steering Y-link at all.

You're kidding, right? It looks absolutely nothing like stock steering.

While I prefer full crossover steering there's absolutely nothing wrong with the Inverted-T setup .

The inverted-T is going to be easier to get your steering geometry correct depending on lift height.

The full crossover would more than likely require the OTA trac-bar mount like FST offers for sale next to their steering.

make your own knuckles ≠ reaming stock knuckles

reaming a knuckle on a lathe for a steering conversion = biggest waste of time ever. i have a lathe and a four jaw, and i would never do that...
