Taper bit worked like a charm.
Now my next issue. Since my drag link and tie rod were off, how do I figure out the length of my tie rod? I turned my spindles to try and get them as parallel as possible... if I turn the spindles all the way left or right and then measure between TREs would that work or would a spindle swivel to far causing my length to be too long?
I figure if my measurement is approximately 40" I can cut 2" under since the TREs are a bit longer than stock?

Got it. stock suspension with 2233 2234 2026 and 2027 TREs I get a overall 42" tie rods (end to end of the threaded inserts) and 19" drag link (end to end not accounting for the inserts).
Seems a bit short on the drag link no? Steering wheel straight, and measured for the "alignment". Though I suppose the knuckles could both be turned slightly and still have the same distances front and back.
