I've had a 2" OME lift on mine for 3 years and haven't had a single issue. Don't worry about it. As has been said, once you go to 3" or more you need to take other steps. 3"-3.5" get often get by with a T-case drop, but it's best to use a slip yoke eliminator. Anything over 3.5" and a SYE is the only real option.

I cant stand when people do that. It'll take them just as long to answer the question, as it would for them to be a smart *** and say google it. Google usually leads new members here so they can ask there questions.

I feel like I have some driveline vibes accelerating but then my exhaust is resting against my shackle so it could be that too.

Others will whine that its easier to just give an answer but I'm not one to baby others, the more you read and learn the more you'll get a better understanding and even learn a few other things as well with it. That normally ones giving a answer might not think to add or say

It's fine lol the only reason I said to google is because if you read a bit, you could see many many posts saying that at 1"-2" you would be fine, geck the factory upcountry package gave a xj a 1"-1.5" of lift with no issues, see what I'm saying? The reason why it made me lol is because your question wasn't like the dumb norm questions people ask but a truly innocent noob question. Ill still stand behind saying to search, use google and add :cherokeeforum.com at the end or :naxja.org and you can learn a lot. I search and googled and read threads here and on naxja for a few months before deciding what xj I wanted to buy, it paid off though because I got my dream xj, early 97'(has the early model hinges for easy doorless mod) manual doors, upcountry package(lift, skids, factory LSD rear)

It's the 97'+ that can't get higher that 2.5" not 98'+. I'm willing to bet that their suspensions a bit taller than 2" because at that height, the angles don't change much. Anything over 2.5" there will be vibes, tiny but noticeable but under 2.5" there won't be. The only way I can see 2" lift getting vibes is from using a lift block.
