00 XJ with a 94 Toyota Land Cruiser OEM brush guard?
OEM mounting bolts 17mm
front brush guard
I’m looking to mount a ‘94 Toyota Land Crusier OEM brush guard to my ‘00 XJ sport but I’m not sure if it will mount wo the XJ cross member properly like in the LC. Has anyone ever looked into this or can figure out if it would work? The XJ is 69.5 inches wide & the brush guard is 72” inches wide with mounts 28 inches on center using 17mm head bolts. will i need to modify the front cross memeber to make this work? or is it stock compatible? I’m buying it used & getting there is a bit of a drive. Help?

If you have a welder, a drill, metal, and a cutoff wheel you can do it. Probably no one has ever done that b/c it seems like on this forum toyotas and jeeps are like oil and water... even though when I go with guys in toyotas the jeeps are always the ones that break...

It looks a lot like the Manik brush guard that used to be available.
This page has a link for Grand Cherokee installation.

I have a similar looking guard on my 98 XJ. Don't know who the maker was.
It was on the Jeep when I bought it used in 2002. It is held on with two
bolts that screw into into the top of the bumper and two vertical nutted
bolts underneath.
