WTB - skid plate(s).

I'd like to buy the front skid plate & the transfer case skid plate for use on my '96 XJ.

OEM or whatever; so long as it isn't rusted out totally, I'm probably good. Prefer pick up; I live in Spokane. An hour drive or so isn't a problem.

The OEM front skid looks like this:

Thanks!

I'm checking to see now. Any idea of the weight/shipping?

(I'm not too worried about damage in shipping: pretty sure I can straighten out what UPS bends lol.)

...and how much of course.

According to this article at Cheap Jeep, the OEM skid plates fit all years. So I'm definitely interested if the s/h isn't prohibitive.

Here's their pix of it:

I dunno how to go from here lol. Let me know how you'd like to go about this (if you're willing to ship 'em, price, etc.).

Thanks. (And wow, that was a fast first response.)

Just a suggestion, But why not just go hit Pull-N-Save out in the valley. There reasonable in prices and have a ton of Jeeps out there.

Thanks. I'm still new to Spokane, and I had no idea where to go that would have stuff.

I tried a Pick n' Pull (nothing like the ones I used to frequent in Sacramento, which were pretty much awesome) last fall, and they only had one XJ and and a Wagoneer lol ...at that point I kind of gave up on JY hopping.

...so I'll head out there as soon as the weather clears a bit. Regardless, I owe you a beer.

Next time im in spokane, I will run you up to 9 mile falls ORV park. I lived there 16 years before moving over here to the west coast. BTW just as a FYI... it does cost like 4 bucks to get into Pull-N-Save if I recall right. Its been 2 years since I've been out there.

I'll rain check your beer 'til then .

...and I think that's a buck or so less than Sac's Pick-n-Pull lol ...so I'm good.

Thanks for the heads up and details Nathan ...I'm going to head over and see what I can see as soon as I figure it will be dry for a few hours. I printed out directions for the Valley one, and I already know how to get to Pick n Pull.

...and thanks again for those nerf bars: they're going to clean up and work out perfect: much better than the skinny-chromies I had on before (they're a lot more like the Smitty-bilt ones on my TJ).

Nathan9Mile 02-19-2013 05:52 PM

The north one is a few miles north of pick and pull on the left hand side. And no problem on the nerf bars man glad someone was able to use them instead of going to scrap and it was nice meeting u
