Default 1998 Cherokee - Stock - Runs great

Hey guys... It's up on Craigslist. Check there for pics. Here's the description.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/3369010257.html

1998 Jeep Cherokee
4.0L 4WD 4-door
165,xxx miles (still driving to work about 10 miles per day)

Runs amazingly. Hate to sell it but the wife wants a new car and this will make a nice down payment.

Price is $4500 or best offer! This is on par with the going rates here and way better than these crazy dealers asking for $6k! Make me an offer I cannot refuse.

Is it perfect? No. It's a '98 but it's damn fine. Took it on a golfing trip to Wenatchee and Lake Chelan this summer and I'd do it again tomorrow. Super reliable.

Buy this and get ready for winter! The 4 wheel drive works flawlessly.

I bought the care in June or July of 2010 and have driven it daily since. It's of course paid off. Clean and clear title in hand.

Since I've had it, any issues were fixed at Olympic 4x4 in Shonomish. These guys are Jeep gurus.

Oil changed every 3,000-4,000 miles since I've owned it.

Here is what I've done and when:

8/12/10 - "Big 3" oil leak repair - Common on ALL of these cars. Had Oly 4x4 replace the rear main seal, oil filter adapter o-rings, and valve cover gasket. Also had the power steering pulley replaced as the bearings were starting to whine. ($500!)

1/21/11 - New muffler. The old muffler was rattling a bit so I had a Flowmaster 40 series installed. Sounds super good. Nice and throaty.

4/30/11 - Front pinion seal. I had Oly 4x4 replace this due to a small fluid leak.

11/22/11 - New tires. Les Schwab Wildcat Radials 235/75/15 (slightly larger than stock but no rub). Balanced and siped for awesome rain traction. (over $700!)

7/13/12 - New front pads and rotors. Middle grade purchased from O'Reilly and done by me. (Over $150 in parts)

7/31/12 - New front wheel hubs. There was some whine in the front end. Had Oly 4x4 replace both front hubs. ($300!)

10/23/12 - New throttle position sensor. The check engine light came on and the code pointed to this sensor. Caused some high and low idle issues but is running awesome now.

I have documentation for all of these and the original owner's manual.

Please let me know if you have any questions. All reasonable offers will be reviewed. Email is the best way to contact me so just click on the link. Include your number if you prefer a call.
