I am an American living and working in the UAE, and live in Abu Dhabi. I am very surprised how many XJ's there are still running around here, and they are in fantastic shape !@!! I have a 1991 and this is the place to have a XJ because there are so many parts and places to play with the XJ. I am lucky to be here and able to enjoy my XJ the way it was meant to be enjoyed. would love to hear from others in my area.

Well my XJ is coming along very well, Have totally redone it. so now I have a new 1991. I am having fun fixing it up, all stock, and looking good. I will try to post a photo if I can figure this web page out. anyway, parts and labor are pretty cheap here in the UAE. BUT, if anyone reading this is here, I would recomment getting any parts from the Jeep Dealer...it might cost a bit more, but I have found that the after market stuff sold here just don't hold up. I don't know if it is the Hot temps here nut mostly the electrical parts ( sensors and fuel pumps and anything that is around heat, ) just don't hold up, but the original parts from Mopar and the Jeep dealer haven't failed me yet....more later.

Yes, I am still in the Abu Dhabi area. But on vacation in Texas. I will be back in UAE on the 24th of Jan. Would be nice to talk to a fellow XJ owner in the a area.
