USA Part Suppliers that ship same day to Canada
OK I am tired of getting dicked around when trying to shop Canadian. On the 21st of August I ordered right and left quarter panels and a HD tie rod. I got the panels last week, and the tie rod today. Why? Because they had to get the parts in from the USA.
Last Thursday I ordered a track bar relocation bracket from a different Canadian dealer and got an email saying it would be 10-15 business days before they got it from their USA warehouse. It was in my spam folder so I didn't notice it till tonight. I think tomorrow I will call them and cancel the order and just order from a US dealer, anyone care to recommend one that actually has inventory and will ship the same day I order it? I figure if I cut out the middle man I can get it here a week or two earlier. |
Not always...
Customs is the killer, not the vendor. |
Everything I have ordered for my Stealth has come from either 3SX or 3S Warehouse and nothing has been more than 10 days from order to delivery, and that is using USPS and UPS.
Auto part sale through customs without a second look. Knife making supplies on the other hand take for ever. I can also have things delivered to Ogdensburg and just jump across the border and pick it up. I live right on the NY state Ontario border, just a big river separating us. It is about a 30 minute round trip not counting customs/border crossing. |

What number?
|
Rugged Ridge SKU # 18305.02, but the part is on its way, already have the DHL tracking number.
I always try to shop Canadian first, then known forum dealers, followed by where ever I can get it in. I was in kind of a rush to get this part considering I plan to take the Stealth off the road for the winter in a couple weeks and still have a lot to do on the Jeep. I have nothing against shopping south of the Canadian border, it is just that it is normally faster to buy in Canada. It seems to be turning out to be the opposite with XJ parts:o |
Yep. Not on my site.
Why do you want to lower your trackbar? |
To temporally get my front axle as close to centered as I can after doing a 3" lift and not have to drill a hole in the factory bracket. I don't have the funds to buy an adjustable track bar right now and need the Jeep on the road before winter hits so I can part the Stealth.
In the new year I will take care of the little things that I am cheating out on like the track bar, and shocks. |
The bracket arrives today, and is duty free:thumbup: Not sure when today, but I am not straying too far from the house till it gets here::tongue_smilie: It is OK because I have a crap load of things I need to get done before this nice weather ends.
