Default Rear Drive Shafts

Hi All
I have two Jeep Cherokee,s a 1996 LIMITED AUTOMATIC Petrol and a 1998 Laredo manual diesel. I would like to know if I could remove the drive shafts from the laredo to the 1996 Limited. Your advice would be appreciated.

Regards
