Redbird SRA January 7th
Let's go wheelin' January 7th! Another XJ and I will be there, and so should you. Redbird is open 9-5 that day. We plan to be there when the gates open if not shortly after. PM me if you plan to go so we can exchange phone numbers. Cell phone service is VERY shoty in and around the Dugger, In area, so call before you get close and leave a voicemail with your number if I don't pick up. Its possible to find service, just rare. I will then do my best to track you down.
This would be a great event to test out your new christmas parts, or do I shakedown on your winter project!! Be there! |

Taken from the Redbird site, "If your vehicle is a licensed street legal vehicle you are not required to have an off-highway registration."
You are good if street legal and licensed. No flag required. If you come prepared as you would for any other wheeling event, tools, recovery gear, ect, you will be perfect. Their is a gas station in Dugger with free air for those not trailering. Redbird can make your heart pound with its off camber situations. Its a former coal mine, and has lots of hill climbs. You can expect a little mud, or a lot depending on precipitation. There is a good mix of trails, and I will do my best to keep us on manageable trails for the whole group. Hope for no snow! Snow makes some of the more fun trails for my rig too crazy for me. There will still be plenty to do even if snow happens. You tow set up looks great! |

You're welcome. I am looking forward to this!
Other things to note: -Admission is only $10 per rig, no passenger fee. -Ask for a trail map when you pay. They aren't perfect, but come in handy. -My name is Greg. |
Should be a good turnout if we don't slide into any trees ;)

Less than one month! Hope everyone is getting their rig ready. I am.
This will be a great event for anyone. Newbs, if you have never wheeled, or are nervous about joining, don't be. Join us and learn from us/with us. This is going to be fun! I will try to whip up enough cookies for the group so we have an awesome trail snack. |
