This has been a topic of discussion for awhile now among some of the CF guys in Illinois so I figured I would make a thread about it. We will be going to the cliffs insane terrain for some muddy trail fun on may 12th.

Working cb
Front and rear recovery
Tow strap (no straps w/hooks)


Hope to see the parking lot filled with XJs. Maybe we could even make this a annual CF event.

Should be down. Class ends the week before, so there's no reason I can't go. Just gotta make sure everything is up to snuff.

Hey if you guys don't mind letting me know if you have been to the cliffs or not just so I can gauge the experience level we are going to have there that day. Don't worry we won't do trails like carnage but we will all push our vehicles in a safe and fun way.

I haven't done anything off road (ex race track) since I was 17. This was mild 2 track trails and farm fields with a IH Scout. That was about 40 yrs ago
