For a while I have been wanting to start a thread on all the sightings of an XJ I see on TV and movies but have been too lazy to post it. Then I saw this commercial for a Galaxy phone and was surprised to see an XJ front and center. Some advertising person must have thought this was the vehicle to fit the message they wanted to convey.

This one I am not 100% sure, but it sure looks like some sort of XJ. And really, Liam Neeson is driving so nothing else to add.

I saw that commercial the other day, and of course paid more attention to the XJ than the phone they were showing. That's also a rare color that you don't see all that often.
One memorable movie for me that I can remember Jeeps in is Father of the Bride 1 and 2. The first movie had an XJ with faux wood paneling (it was either a Wagoneer or a Briarwood, I'm thinking the latter), and the second movie had a purple Grand Cherokee ZJ Laredo 4X4 with the 5.2L V8 in it (you can see the V8 badge on the rear tailgate in the scene where they show the ZJ).

The Amazon prime detective show called “Bosch” has the main character driving a 2 door XJ with a 5 speed manual, small lift kit too. Great Jeep and great show.

Here is the Terminator trashing a perfectly good XJ. I bet that engine still ran after all that.
