Default xj tube doors

Anyone have pictures our experience with warrior products tubular doors for the xj, or any other companies that make them? Trying to decide if I want to go this route or not.

They cost a butt load! Ever consider making your own? My brother is an electrician and he helped me build some out of EMT. Used a simple gate latch to keep them closed. They're strong enough, won't help much in a side collision, but plenty string enough to keep you from falling out. I only built mine to keep the cops happy. I prefer doorless

My biggest issue is committing to these type of doors, I don't know if I want to make the permanent change, I wish the xj was as easy to switch doors as the others....

Yeah check out the write up section for how to cut the hinges and then there is another write up for a set of door plugs from a ZJ like I used

If you have an air compressor get yourself a cheap air hammer, makes things FAR easier.

Also drill the holes the hinge pins go in out to 1/4 inch. Its slightly bigger than they are already and makes putting the doors back on easier. Also helps to cut some lengtj off the top hinge pin.
