wish i could get swamppers but bfg a/t vs. dura trac

got my lift on and have been driving my self nuts over what tires to get!:brickwall:

i have had km2's and wrangler dura tracs, on my old jeep

i actually prefered the dura tracs.
my questions is goodyear dura tracs or bfg all terrain?

It depends what u want. Better on road or off.

ya i thought the dura tracs were really good on rocks because they were super soft but they didnt last very long. and i have heard that the bfg a/t once wet wont grip any thing

Before I had to part out my Jeep, I had dura tracs on them.. At 1 point I had bfg a/ts... Both were same size and hands down the dura tracs were better... at the park i was at where these pics were taken, was very soupy deep mud, it had rained for like a week straight..

then I busted a stub shaft while at the park and had to get out in just 2wd with a front tire that kept locking up, and the dura tracs did not let me down. they got me back out through the mud and onto the trailer..

So I say Dura tracs for the win..

gsteeze 04-29-2012 11:10 PM

ya looks like i will be getting another pair of dura tracs as soon as i can get a little more money in my tire fund

I got them through Pomp's Tire, i don't know if they do or not... best to call around to your local tire places and see who has the best price mounted and balanced per tire, which was 220 for me, but i have a commercial account with them so it was a lot cheaper... so far, i have walked through what Wrangler Authority's have struggled accomplish, very good so far
