Will these tires fit?
Guys i just had a quick question about some tires im lookin to put on my jeep. I found tires that i really like and they seem good from what i read in reviews and stuff but i cant seem to find them in the exact size. I have a completely stock 99 and i know that the stock tire size is 225/75/15, the tires im interested in are 235/75/16. I've done a little research and it seems I wont have any trouble with going from 15 to 16 but will i need new wheels to fit the new tire because its 235 not 225? sorry if this is kind of a stupid question but im brand new to all this stuff. Thanks for any any and all help and advice i appreciate it.

You'd be switching from a 15in wheel to a 16in wheel. If I read correctly you don't think you will be needing new wheels when in fact you do.

A 16 inch tire requires a 16 inch rim!! If I have read this wrong, sorry, but the rim diameter is critical.

The 235 from 225 has nothing to do with wheel diameter. R15 at the end means its a radial tire with a 15in diameter wheel. The new tire size you want ends in R16 therefore you will have to use a 16in wheel.
