I Don't expect to get a waive from the soccer mom that's been driving her XJ for the last 10 years with saggy leafs and a NASCAR sounding exhaust leak, but a head nod would at least be nice from other lifted and modded XJs. And there are a lot in my area. Anyone else feel the same?

I was thrown a deuce by a fellow xj-er with nice mods and doorless and mine is practically stock... maybe it's the area you're in or something.... Have you tried initiating the salutations?

People buy Wranglers because they want that "Jeep experience", not because they're looking for a practical daily driver.
Some people buy Cherokees for that same reason, but others buy them because they're practical vehicles.
Therefore, not everyone who owns a Cherokee has any interest whatsoever in the fact that it's a Jeep, they just wanted a 4 wheel drive station wagon that they don't have to climb out of.

Being a TJ and XJ owner, I wave to all wranglers and XJs with mods. I do tend to ignore the stockers unless they wave first.
