Default Who makes the best cargo mat?

Hi All,

I'm just looking for something that fits nicely.

The Quadratec look nice but I don't want a massive lip on the tailgate side. I'd rather it not have any lip so I can slide stuff out.

Any other great options out there?

Thanks!

I think all the quality mats have a lip?its to keep spilled liquids contained. Rugged ridge has it as well. Maybe just cut it off?

The Q-tec mats are just rebranded Rugged Ridge. My vote for best mat goes to them, though I wish someone would invent something very similar but with a way of it being extended when the back seat is down.

Husky liners seem to fit better and have more coverage than Rugged Ridge.
The lip in cargo area folds down easily when loading/unloading.

I second the husky liner. One came with my Heep, and I love it. The lip is no problem during loading and unloading it just folds down out of the way. The factory tan carpet under my mat is still perfect, and I always have tools, Jeep parts, fishing equipment, etc in mine.

Husky liners are designed and manufactured in the USA and no BS guaranteed for life, chinamart has exactly what you're looking for.

For a budget mat you can cut foam pads to fit. I used these HF pads and put a free (with coupon) tarp on top and it's been fine for anything I've thrown back there.

My Husky Liners are like 10 years old and still look great. The front floor mats hold like 2 gallons of water which is nice in the winter.

I sunk up to the doors in mud once so the carpet will never be the same, but it looked perfect before! They are expensive, but excellent durability.

IMO...I have had three different floor mats in my wranglers and Cherokee and I'll have to say the best looking and functional mats are the rugged ridge. Custom fit, looks great, and have deep mud tire tread pattern.

Weathertech is the way to go... sure they're expensive but the warranty is great and they're custom form-fitted to your specific vehicle so they are guaranteed to fit... plus the colors match well to the factory Jeep interiors (we have an '02 Grand Cherokee WJ and a '14 Grand Cherokee WK2 with Weathertech mats). They're also tough and can be easily sprayed clean/wiped clean when they get dirty.
