One of the 1st options I installed. Stored it in the rear cubby. Considering a relocate or rotation of the mount It has been suggested to me horizontal mounting can foul the nozzle?. Haven't been able to confirm that. Every vehicle should have at least one.

The only issue with it being in the front is if it fouls out and discharges, you'll be sucking fumes. Trust me, you don't want to go through that. Best place I've found for my 2.5lb is on the c-pillar, just above the rear seat. it still allows for easy, quick access. And, if it fails expectantly, the back windows can go down and it'll all dump out without killing my throat.

True but I had mine in the back and I just forgot about it because it's so far away. Anyways if you need it fast you don't wanna be running to the back then all the way back to the engine or location of fire.

I understand, that's why I didn't put it all the way in the back. For me, the c-pillar is close enough to do a quick hop out and grab. But, that's my opinion. Wherever it goes, every vehicle should have one.

I have one but haven't got around to installing it. I'm afraid if i use it i will end up needing it. Last year there was a dumpster fire at my old apartment and i smashed the glass to get one and someone else had already done the same thing and was out there. For whatever reason i set it down outback my place where i had been sitting so nobody would steal it, and I kept forgetting to give it to maintence. Now i have it lol

Really looking into this. Where I live, it's really common for cars to catch on fire for lack of maintenance. But, I just don't know where to put it

I encourage all of you to think about how a vehicle fire happens and where you might be when it does. My opinion is the fire extinguisher should be within reach of the driver while the driver is in the driver's seat. Running to the back, unlocking the rear hatch and reaching inside takes WAY TOO LONG when a fire is happening. If you don't believe me I suggest watching a few videos on vehicle fires.

I agree, a fire extinguisher should be within reach of the drivers seat. I have thought about mounting mine on floor near the seat sliders.
