Where to mount these

I picked a set of these up on ebay really cheap, but am at a dilemma as to where to put them. I was thinking either over the front bumper, or on the stock roof rack cross bars. My XJ is all stock on the outside, any suggestions?

In the stock location. Look for the two black plastic caps on top of the bumper. That would look best IMO.
