Where do I start ?
I bought a 1987 Cherokee from a friend of mine that it was just sitting out at his shop, I know it has been sitting for at least two years and I am in need of some guideance into where do I start on getting this running

Clean the intake and do a tune up, spark plugs, wires, distributor.
Make sure the fuel pump works and maybe change out the filter

Put a new battery on it and be sure it turns over first and if that is successful, you start working.
Change the oil and filter.
Replace fuel pump, regulator and filter. Best to drop the tank and clean it inside if it had any gas in it at all when parked.
New plugs, wires, etc.
Clean the throttle body.

Thank you for all y'alls in put , I will start with adding 1qt of oil and a little gas along with a new battery and cross my fingers and see what happends.
